BaSyC PI John van der Oost (WUR) featured in a television programme on CRISPR-Cas

In the TV-program “Tegenlicht”, John talks about his pioneering work in the development of CRISPR-Cas.
With this new technology we can literally cut and paste into DNA. This revolutionary development can have major consequences for people, plants and animals. This allows us to permanently ban diseases, improve our body conditions and adapt plants to our food needs.
